Dutch heritage Glenmore Banyuwangi

 a Dutch heritage monument

Although the name is more close to the Scottish Glenmore, Glenmore physically close enough to the things that smell Netherlands for Netherlands for a long time to master the plantations in this area. Even the Dutch heritage buildings such as the headquarters, the steam railway stations, irrigation systems, to shed accumulation of plantation crops are still found today. One well-known is the 500 meter long water pipeline in the village known as Pipe Margomulyo Sarengan.
Conditions that make the District of Glenmore, especially plantations, became a Dutch tourist destination. "We heard a story about a beautiful Glenmore from our grandfather who served in rubber plantations here," said Johann van Dulken. In the 1980s to 1990s Dutch tourists often seen milling about in Glenmore. They used to buy handicrafts from bamboo, such as the hood of food, farmers' hats, winnowing, and others.
